Philadelphia shooting: Three people are killed and eleven others were injured by multiple active shooters' in the Philadelphia area

Multiple shooters opened fire on the South Street area of Philadelphia's entertainment district, killing at least three and injuring eleven others, police said.

South Street officers "observed many civilians with gunshot wounds lying on the sidewalk or in the street. She added that the officers began to render first aid to injured people.

According to Pace, two handguns, one with an extended magazine and one with a loaded pistol, were found. The shooting was not connected to any arrests.

Outlaw stated that at this time, it was unclear if the altercation occurred between individuals or whether it was linked to any other group or affiliation.

According to police, the victims were Gregory Jackson (34), Alexis Quinn (27), and a 22-year-old man whose identity was not released.

Outlaw stated that the investigation is still in its infancy and that the shooting was just one of many in the area on Saturday night. 

The two victims' identities, one man and one woman, have not been revealed.
